LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas hosted about 130,000 attendees March 4-8 in and nearby the Las Vegas Convention Center for the co-locating shows of CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2014. Show floor space topped out at 2.35 million square feet, making this the largest show in North America this year.
About 2,400 exhibitors showcased their wares at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, the international gathering place for the construction industries. Held every three years, the expo showcases the latest equipment, products, services and technologies in construction.
IFPE 2014 is the leading international exposition and technical conference dedicated to the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications.
The non-gaming economic impact to Las Vegas for the five-day show was estimated at more than $157 million.
