INDIANAPOLIS – At the annual meeting of the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association on Jan. 28, more than 700 members of the local tourism industry were told how Indianapolis is weathering the economic storm much better than other major cities.
Roger Dow, president of the U.S Travel Association. was the keynote speaker and addressed industry officials on national trends. The meeting took place at Conseco Fieldhouse, home to the Indiana Pacers.
