CHICAGO – Moss Inc. announced July 1 that the company is reorganizing its operations in order to leverage manufacturing and engineering expertise for increased productivity and efficiency.

During the next few months, Moss – a premier provider of tensioned fabric structures, printed graphics, and display hardware – will execute a strategic plan establishing several areas of specialization throughout the organization.

Changes include a newly created center of excellence for engineering and technical design in Belfast, Maine, and over 175,000 square feet of manufacturing capability with a new state-of-the-art facility in Chicago.

According to Executive Vice President of Operations Vince Marler, “The reorganization of the company will allow Moss to continue in its efforts to become more efficient, cost competitive and customer centric.”

The facility in Belfast, Maine, will centralize Moss’ key technical expertise to provide better customer service by specializing in technical support and engineering. Moss will also be moving in to a new strategically located production facility in the Chicago area that will be designed for maximum efficiency and productivity.

Salt Lake City will continue to be the hub for specialization in research and product development and in high-volume retail production. Moss also has a facility in Las Vegas.

“These changes strategically position the company to continue its growth both in existing products and markets as well as new ventures,” said Charlie Corsentino, Moss chairman, president and CEO.
