CHICAGO – TS2 2009 – Total Solutions Marketing for the Exhibit and Event Professional came to Chicago’s McCormick Place July 20-23.
Sponsored by Chicago-based Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), the annual one-stop shop trade show for trade show professionals featured four days of educational tracks with 70 sessions.
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and National Trade Productions (NTP), which owns TS2, announced earlier that the two have collaborated for a 10-year partnership to have an IAEE presence at TS2.
“This agreement with IAEE represents a bridge to the entire exhibitor world,” said Robert Harar, chairman of NTP. “There are 1,500 exhibitor members in IAEE.” Both IAEE exhibitors and educational components will become part of TS2.
IAEE President Steven Hacker said as part of the partnership, IAEE brought a portion of its education track to TS2, and some exhibitors who normally exhibit at IAEE’s Expo! Expo! also exhibited at TS2. The trade show floor highlighted interactive education, with over 250 leading-edge companies showcasing everything from exhibit design and production, to event technology to marketing/promotion and training solutions. At the Technology Pavilion & Lounge, attendees experienced the latest time and money-saving technologies in the industry. Networking opportunities included a Chicago White Sox game, the TS2 Block Party at Navy Pier and the TSEA Gala Fundraiser (www.ts2show.com). |
