According to organizers, the Excite! seminar program, launched at last year’s show, are overflowing with delegates. The annual event’s visitors doubled to £660 million and a 16 percent increase in attendance, reaching over 3,000 attendees for the first time. The new look event will cover experiential, exhibitions, live marketing, events, product launches and roadshows. As event director, John Sanders said. “The old distinctions no longer apply and the new name of Excite! reflects the inspirational nature of the exhibitions, experiential marketing and events our exhibitors help to create. Visitors to the show want inspiration for their face-to-face marketing in all its forms.” Excite! (www.exciteshow.com) also promises a radical new format. Relocating to The new format is a blend of networking, conference, exhibition, workshop and celebration. The next show is scheduled for June 24-25, 2009. Show Founder Simon Burton stated, “Excite! isn’t simply aimed at helping brands and corporations get more from their experiential marketing and exhibition engagement. It also plays a vital role in fostering and nurturing connections within our industry and between the disciplines that make it up.
