LAS VEGAS – When Todd Koren, president of Absolute Exhibits in Las Vegas, saw a story in the local news about churches in the city collecting donated items and water for the Haiti earthquake relief effort, he was moved to help.
The Eglise Messianique de la Grace Community church that resides at the First Baptist Church in Las Vegas, headed by Pastor Amors Prophete, and led by the president of the Haitian Disaster Relief Community, Ken Son Desinov, had collected over two tons of supplies for victims in Haiti, but had no way to move the donations to Miami, where the materials could be ferried to Port Au Prince, Haiti.
This community effort only came together after the logistics were worked out by Absolute Exhibits (www.absoluteexhibits.com). |
