NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Market Center Management Co. has named David Osborn general manager of the Nashville Medical Trade Center, which is slated to rise on the site of the current Nashville Convention Center.
Osborn had been a senior advisor to Market Center since last summer and has been in pre-leasing talks with potential tenants for the project, which got the green light after Metro Council recently passed a funding plan for a new convention center. The 2 million-square-foot Nashville Medical Trade Center is slated to open in 2013 and will house up to 1,200 showrooms as well as trade show space and meeting facilities.
