PHOENIX – ICT: Infection Control Today magazine will host the third annual ICT Conference on Professional Development, this time as a virtual tradeshow Feb. 10-11, 2009. The conference is designed to enhance the job performance of infection preventionists. The ICT Conference on Professional Development features all the benefits of a top traditional tradeshow without the cost, travel or hassle associated with traditional events. Attendees and exhibitors will be able to interact via chat or email, attend educational presentations by top industry experts, visit booths in the exhibit hall and enter to win fantastic prizes. The best part is that it can all be done without leaving the comfort of your own home or office.

“Our readers have embraced online activities over the last couple of years,” states Kelly Pyrek, ICT’s editor-in chief, “and this event will be no exception.” According to ICT’s publisher, Bill Eikost, “ICT has always been on the cutting edge and we are proving that once again with the first event of its kind in this market segment.” Pyrek adds, “With the cost of travel going up, it makes perfect sense to bring this event to our readers. Besides, registration is free. There is no better bargain these days.”

Free registration is available for all attendees, including entry to the EducationCenter. Registration will give them access to the exhibit hall, all educational presentations, and unlimited networking opportunities, all without having to step on a plane or book a hotel room.

There is still time to represent your business by exhibiting at the ICT Conference on Professional Development in February; contact Bill Eikost or Dana Armitstead (contact information below) to take advantage of special early bird pricing. Choosing to exhibit at this virtual event will put you in front of decision makers in the industry for a fraction of the cost of exhibiting at a live event. More than 300 attendees have already registered (and this number is growing quickly), representing hospitals such as the Mayo Clinic, Kaiser, HealthSouth, Mercy Medical Center, St Joseph’s Hospital, and many more.

To get more information, or to register as an exhibitor or attendee, please visit the ICT conference Web site at www.ictconference.com.
