Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, a leading New York City based trade show exhibit and event marketing company, is using its expertise in event promotion and marketing to help with the hunt for treatment and a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a devastating genetic disease. “We’ve come to know about this crippling disease from within our company family and we want to rally together in support and do what we can to help” stated Glenn Diehl, president of Skyline Genesis.
Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, a leading New York City based trade show exhibit and event marketing company, attended the recent 2011 NACS Show (National Association of Convenience Stores) with two of their clients, Nestle Waters North America and Vita Coco. “It’s interesting that both of these clients’ booths had some connection to water and we were able to make a big splash for them at this show” stated Glenn Diehl, president of Skyline Genesis.
The Nestle Waters exhibit is a double deck structure featuring two meeting rooms, 4 projection screens and 7 product display stations each highlighting the variety of beverage brands marketed by Nestle Waters, NA. The exhibit also included a very large, four sided, hanging banner structure which was visible throughout the exhibit hall. According to Jim Donker, VP Marketing for Nestle Waters, NA, “this was our best trade show ever and our best trade show exhibit ever.”
The Vita Coco exhibit, a 20x20 exhibit, features sampling stations and a 10x10 sand pit for beach volleyball. “We are very pleased. Skyline Genesis hit the nail on the head with this design,” stated Jeff Rubenstein, VP Consumer Marketing for Vita Coco. He added, “We plan on expanding our trade show program in 2012.” Glenn Diehl commented “it’s not every day you see a beach volleyball game in Chicago, indoors.”
Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, the New York based authorized dealer for Skyline Exhibits, will be hosting a free seminar and lunch for event marketers and exhibitors involved in consumer and trade shows in the New York metropolitan area. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear “60 Trade Show Tips” from Glenn Diehl, president of Skyline Genesis Event Marketing (SkyGEM) while enjoying a complimentary luncheon at Crowne Plaza White Plains on Thursday, September 22nd, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Skyline Genesis Event Marketing will be exhibiting at this year’s 2011 Event Design Summit held at the New World Stages in New York City, June 15th-16th. The Event Design Summit is held every year in New York and other major cities across the United States and features speakers and thought leaders in the event, trade show and face-to-face marketing community. This year Glenn Diehl, President of Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, has been asked to speak on “Designing for an Event Space”. This is a new agenda topic and Diehl will speak about challenges in designing in both the event and trade show arenas.
“They are quite different environments and one skill set and experience background does not always automatically qualify you as a designer to ably design for both”, states Diehl.
On May 16th, 2011 Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, a New York tradeshow display company, will participate in the Senior Thesis Capstone event at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Glenn Diehl, President of Skyline Genesis Event Marketing, will attend as part of a panel of industry judges to review the senior projects of approximately 15 students completing the FIT Graduate Exhibition Design program.
“This is the fourth time I’ve participated in this very interesting day. This exhibit design program is excellent and has been much needed for many years”, says Diehl. “The program brings a more formal structure to the training and preparation of those particularly interested in the face-to-face marketing world. Designing for these environments requires a unique set of skills and orientation and it’s good to see FIT taking the lead in providing this program.”
Students complete a rigorous one year program focused on all aspects of three dimensional and environmental design. FIT works with various industry organizations to conduct internships, many of which result in eventual hiring by the participating companies. “We hired our first FIT grad last year”, reports Diehl. “This hire has been one of the best we’ve ever made.”

Boccieri Golf introduced its full line of “heavy” golf clubs at the 2011 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida with the help of Skyline Genesis. Attendees at the convention center were invited to “Take the Heavyweight Challenge” in pre-show marketing pieces and in the exhibit at the show.
